After having been graduated Institue of Education, Turhan Oğuzkan (7th October 1923-25th April 1992) had undertaken various educational and administrative positions at the schools of Ministry of Education. He had done his MA and PhD degrees in the USA at various times. His career includes academic studies in Gazi Eğitim Enstitüsü, Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi, and Boğaziçi Üniversitesi. He established educational sciences departments in those universities. Dr. Oğuzkan has a lot of books, essays, and translations in the fields of general education and adult education.
