Turkish Political Life

The content of this book include various subjects related to Turkish political life. It consists of the published and unpublished academic articles by myself or with co-authors in a period of time. The articles give, from a historical point of view, an account of the nature of the statist tradition in Turkish politics and its relation to issues such as democratization, identity politics, nation-state, civil society, the nature of bureaucracy, media and music policy.
